There are a few different ways to register for a PBS TeacherLine course and it will depend on who you are enrolling through. Read through the five options below and choose the statement which describes how you are enrolling. Click on the heading and follow the directions on how to register.

I am Taking this Course on My Own Accord:
If you are taking a PBS TeacherLine New York course on your own accord, first you must select which course you would like to take.
- Go to the semester offerings page and review which courses are being offered.
- If you are already a PBS TeacherLine user proceed to step 7. If you have never taken a class with us before you need to set up a free account at the PBS TeacherLine National site here: www.pbs.org/teacherline/register/
- Fill out all the information. Use the e-mail address that you wish to receive your information for the class. (school or personal e-mail address)
- Write down your username and password in a safe place. Whenever you enter this site you will need your username and password so it is important you have this available.
- Return to this site (thinkbright.org/teacherline)
- Go to the semester offerings page
- Click on the course you wish to enroll in.
- Click the “Enroll” button and proceed with the enrollment information.
- You will need to pay by credit card through this enrollment.

I am Taking this Course through My School District:
If you are taking a PBS TeacherLine Course through your school district then you may have only a small option, or no option at all, as to which course to enroll. You do NOT need to register for the course through this website. Your school district will be collecting the information for enrollment so you will need to contact your district's liaison (Human Resources, Curriculum Director, etc.). The main information we will need is your name, the course you are taking, if there is an option, the e-mail address that you would like your information sent to (either a home or work e-mail address), and a telephone number to contact you in case your e-mail address does not work. The rest of the enrollment will be done through PBS TeacherLine New York. |

I am Taking this Course through A BOCES or Teacher Center:
If you are taking a PBS TeacherLine Course through a BOCES or Teacher Center then your options may be slightly different than the course selection listed on this site. You do NOT need to register for the course through this website. The BOCES or Teacher Center will be collecting the information for enrollment so you will need to contact this education institution. The main information we will need is your name, the course you are taking, the e-mail address that you would like your information sent to (either a home or work e-mail address), and a telephone number to contact you in case your e-mail address does not work. The rest of the enrollment will be done through PBS TeacherLine New York. |

I am Taking this Course through My Local PBS Station:
If you are taking a PBS TeacherLine Course through your local PBS Station, you do NOT need to register for the course through this website. Your PBS Station will be collecting the information for enrollment so you will need to contact your local PBS Station. The main information we will need is your name, the course you are taking, the e-mail address that you would like your information sent to (either a home or work e-mail address), and a telephone number to contact you in case your e-mail address does not work. The rest of the enrollment will be done through PBS TeacherLine New York. |

I am Taking a National PBS TeacherLine Course:
You can enroll in a National PBS TeacherLine course through the New York State site. A National course contains the same material as a New York State course, but the facilitator will not be from the state and will probably not know the state standards. But taking a National course may fit into your schedule better and still contain the great content that is found in all of the PBS TeacherLine courses.
- Go to the semester offerings page and review which courses are being offered. National courses will say “National” next to the date they are being offered.
- If you are already a PBS TeacherLine user proceed to step 7. If you have never taken a class with us before you need to set up a free account at the PBS TeacherLine National site here: www.pbs.org/teacherline/register/
