RDLA220 Teaching Writing in the Content Areas:

Writing can provide a better understanding of what students are thinking and learning. This course explores new strategies to support writing across grade levels and content areas, and explains the importance of students demonstrating learning and understanding through writing. Develop a practical plan to find time for students to write and teach effective writing processes. Discover student writing evaluation techniques and find resources for integrating technology into writing assignments.

MATH120 Fostering Cooperative Learning, Discussion, and Critical Thinking in Elementary Math:

Highly developed collaborative and critical thinking skills are what your students need to meet standards and perform in high-stakes testing. Expand your collection of strategies for sharpening these skills using classroom technology. Discover activities designed to support collaboration and problem solving within the curriculum while addressing National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards.

SCIE564 Structure of the Earth System - Special Collection: Teachers' Domain, produced by WGBH Boston:

A topic immersion course on Teaching Earth and Space Science. Develop content knowledge about landform processes, data sets, and mapping tools while you learn effective teaching methodologies, strategies, and tools for use in teaching earth and space science concepts. Uncover the processes that account for the Earth's ever-changing appearance and investigate how the rock cycle connects to these processes.
